Lead Based Paint Regulations
|
HB 357 states that a lead-based paint hazard evaluation or on-site inspection for lead-based paint is recommended prior to the purchase, lease or renovation of target housing; provide any other information about environmental hazards associated with residential real property as the department deems appropriate. The state will give first priority in lead testing (and hazard reduction, if necessary) to housing units constructed before 1978 in which children under the age of six reside.
